Gaetano Pesce/ Fish Designs

Jason’s first job after graduation from Pratt was working in the SOHO NY workshops of the renowned Italian architect and designer Gaetano Pesce, who has become known as a pioneer in experimental resin casting techniques. His work is in permanent collections of all the major design museums around the world (including the MOMA and Guggenheim in NYC), and during his time in the studio, Jason worked on several major projects, including many components for the famous Chiat/Day advertising firm’s offices in NYC.

During his years in the Pesce studios, Jason learned much about mold-making and casting techniques, and a whole lot about flying by the seat of your pants. Shown below is a sampling of the projects Jason worked on during his tenure.
